Bhai, Control Valve plant ka "Heart" hota hai. Agar aapne galat Cv ka valve chuna, toh ya toh wo control nahi kar payega (Oversized), ya phir requirement puri nahi hogi (Undersized). Aaj hum detail mein samjhenge ki Cv kya hai aur Temperature ka isme kya bada role hai.
1. Cv (Flow Coefficient) Kya Hai? Details Mein Samjho
Cv ek technical number hai jo valve ki "Capacity" batata hai. Iska asli matlab ye hai:
Agar hum ek valve ke inlet aur outlet ke beech 1 PSI ka pressure drop rakhein ($ \Delta P = 1 \text{ PSI} $), toh 1 minute mein usme se kitna 60°F temperature wala pani (Gallons mein) guzar sakta hai, wahi us valve ka Cv hota hai.
2. Temperature ka Cv Calculation mein Lena-Dena
Bhai, tune bohot sahi sawal pucha tha. Temperature ke bina calculation galat ho sakti hai kyunki:
- Density badal jati hai: Garam pani thande pani ke muqable "halka" hota hai (Specific Gravity kam ho jati hai).
- Vapour Pressure: Garam pani jaldi "Steam" banne ki koshish karta hai. Agar valve ke andar pressure bohot gir gaya, toh pani ke bubbles ban jayenge jise hum Cavitation kehte hain.
- Viscosity: Gaadhe fluid (เคैเคธे Oil) ke liye temperature decides karta hai ki wo kitni tezi se bahega.
3. LPH aur Bar se Cv nikalne ka Formula
Industry mein hum Liters Per Hour (LPH) aur Bar use karte hain, par Cv American standard (GPM/PSI) par chalta hai. Calculator piche se ye formula use kar raha hai:
Yahan $ \Delta P $ ka matlab hai $ P1 - P2 $. Agar P2 bohot kam hai, toh valve mein "Choked Flow" ki sthiti paida ho sakti hai.

Bhai, garam fluid ke saath kaam karte waqt ye do khatre hamesha rehte hain:
- Cavitation: Jab liquid bubbles ban kar valve ke andar hi phat jate hain. Isse valve ki body mein chote-chote gaddhe (Pitting) ho jate hain.
- Flashing: Jab liquid inlet par liquid ho, par outlet par "Steam" ban kar nikle. Isse valve ke andar "Sand Blasting" jaisa damage hota hai.

Q1: Rangeability kya hoti hai?
Ans: Maximum flow aur Minimum flow ka ratio jise valve control kar sake. Achhe globe valves ki rangeability 30:1 ya 50:1 hoti hai.
Q2: Positioner kyun lagate hain?
Ans: Taaki valve ki position ekdum sateek (Accurate) rahe aur friction ya hysteresis ka asar na pade.
Q3: Cv aur Kv mein kya antar hai?
Ans: Cv American unit hai (GPM/PSI) aur Kv Metric unit hai ($m^3/hr$/bar). $ Cv = 1.156 \times Kv $.
Engineer's Advice: Kabhi bhi valve ko 100% capacity (Cv) par mat chalayein. Hamesha 20% se 80% opening ke beech rakhein taaki control achha mile aur valve ki life lambi ho.
